METHOD FOR DETERMINING DEVELOPMENT RANGE OF FAVOURABLE WEATHERED CRUST RESERVOIR IN LITHOLOGICALLY COMPLEX BURIED HILL

Provided in the present invention is a method for determining the development range of a favourable weathered crust reservoir in a lithologically complex buried hill, comprising: 1) performing paleoclimate analysis on the strata overlaid on a lithologically complex buried hill to recover the paleoclimate background of each period of the burial stages of the buried hill; 2) determining the strata overlaid on the lithologically complex buried hill deposited under relatively arid climate conditions and the strata deposited under relatively humid conditions; a lithologically complex buried hill weathered crust reservoir overlaid by strata deposited under relatively arid climate conditions is a potential location for favourable buried hill reservoir development, but it is difficult to develop favourable weathered crust reservoirs in a lithologically complex buried hill weathered crust reservoir overlaid by strata deposited under relatively humid climate conditions; and 3) excluding the parts where siltstone and mudstone layers inside the buried hill are exposed on the surface of the buried hill from the lithologically complex buried hill weathered crust overlaid by strata deposited under relatively arid climate conditions, the remaining parts being the development range of the favorable weathered crust reservoir in the lithologically complex buried hill.
