The seismic responses of fractured reservoirs in metamorphic buried hills have been studied on base of analysis study on geologic properties of the rocks. According to seismic data of JZS buried hill in the Bohai Sea, China, the seismic responses of metamorphic buried hill are characterized by low wave impendence, high variation ratio in amplitude, weak continuity of waves and strong anisot-ropy etc. Among these characteristics, the strong anisotropy and weak continuity of waves are most prominent. It demonstrated that sensitive seismic attributes for fractured reservoirs in the buried hill include discontinuity of waves, azimuthal amplitude, azimuthal frequency, attenuation gradient, Poisson's ration, shear modulus and so on. These attributes of azimuthal amplitude can be effectively used for fracture orientations analysis. The discontinuity of wave relatives to fracture distributions, and attributes of frequency, azimuthal amplitude, azimuthal frequency, and attenuation gradient are sensitive to fracture intensity. The predictions of multi-attributes analysis for fractured reservoirs are coincident with well data and geology rules in the studied region.
