Provided are a system and method for monitoring intravenous drip in real-time by improving a conventional intravenous drip monitoring system which has been performed by manual monitoring. An intravenous drip monitoring system is disclosed here. The system includes a first server, an intravenous drip monitoring apparatus, and an electronic device. The first server is connected to the intravenous drip monitoring apparatus and the electronic device to be able to communicate therewith. The intravenous drip monitoring apparatus is configured to detect intravenous drip monitoring information and transfer the intravenous drip monitoring information to the first server. The electronic device is configured to receive intravenous drip information from the first server, and the first server is configured to calculate remaining time and flow amount of intravenous drip by receiving the intravenous drip monitoring information transmitted from the intravenous drip monitoring apparatus and comparing the intravenous drip monitoring information with set information, and is additionally configured to transmit control information to the intravenous drip monitoring apparatus.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
