According to the present invention, a method for reducing a magnitude of an active fault earthquake crushes large-scaled rough remaining in a fault plane to allow a stratum to be moved by small energy, thereby preventing the large-scaled earthquake by allowing the energy accumulated in the stratum to be discharged into small earthquakes several times.
