An actuator unit (28) for a form-fitting, switchable clutch or a brake has a shaft (18) which is rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (26), an actuator slide (30) for actuating the freewheel, the actuator slide (30) with the shaft (18) is rotatably connected and is movable in the axial direction between a first position and a second position relative to the shaft (18), and an actuator (32) which is at least partially stationary and the actuator slide (30) between the first position and the second position moved. The actuator (32) has a coil (42) which is stationary and, when energized, generates a magnetic field by which the actuator slide (30) can be moved from the first position to the second position or vice versa. The coil (42) is not energized in the first and in the second position, the actuator (32) fixing the actuator slide (30) in the first position and the second position.
