The present invention relates to a device for breaking the shell of nuts (nuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.) and more particularly a manual system for opening large quantities of these nuts quickly, efficiently and without muscle fatigue, while preserving the integrity of the kernel, seed or almond which are protected by the shell of these nuts. The device according to the invention comprises a lever with a part designed capable of splitting the shell of the fruits, fixed on a U-shaped support, the whole being solidly fixed on a base.
