Quantum Weyl Group and Universal Quantum R-Matrix for Affine Lie Algebra A(sub1)(sup(1))

In the paper titled 'Quantum Groups,' V. Drinfeld indicated a general form foruniversal quantum R-matrix and for the case sl(2) the author gave an explicit formula. M. Rosso obtained an explicit formula for the case sl(n). Other authors offered a formula for universal R-matrix for arbitrary finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra G. The main result of the paper is the analogue of that formula for R for affine Lie algebra A1.
