Window Rock Dam is located on an unnamed tributary to Black Creek within theNavajo Indian Reservation about one-half mile east of the Navajo Headquarters in Window Rock, Arizona. This report is the product of a formal onsite examination of Window Rock Dam which was performed on December 2, 1996, in accordance with the Federal Guidelines for Dam Safety, as implemented in Part 753 of the Departmental Manual.
