摘要

This paper reviews the wild mushroom resource of the Blue Mountains ofnortheastern Oregon and southeastern Washington and summarizes issues and concerns for regulation, monitoring, and management. Existing biological information on the major available commercial mushrooms in the area, with emphasis of morels, is presented. Brief descriptions of the most commonly collected mushrooms are given, as well as the site conditions and plant cummunities influencing their occurrence or proliferation.
