Gage Block: A Program for the Calibration of Gauge Blocks

GAGE BLOCK is a FORTRAM program coded to produce a calibration certificate for a set of gauge blocks. A fraction-coincidence method is used to produce the deviation from nominal length from input fringe and environmental data. A certificate containing block deviations and general identification information is output. An on-line card reader and an on-line printer are used for input and output. No tape drives are needed for execution of the program. (Author)
