Application of the Exercise ECG to the Rehabilitation of Cardiac Patients.

The purpose of the project were to demonstrate the applicability of the exercise ECG in specific programs with relevance to cardiac rehabilitation,to study the control of the response of postinfarction patients to environmental stress and to develop a diagnostic computer program for the exercise ECG. The Lankenau Perceptual Attitudes Test (LPAT) was developed to reflect the effect of environment on an individual's perception. A computer program was developed which diagnosed intraventricular conduction delay,bundle branch block,abnormal ST segment,and arrhythmia,with 88percent accuracy.
