Application of Computer Techniques in the Prediction of Inorganic Compounds

Some results of the study of application of cybernetics in the prediction of inorganic compounds belonging to binary physico-chemical systems have been presented in the book. Computational data on prediction is presented in tables which include all binary systems. The possibility of predicting numerical values of characteristics of compounds with the help of a computer is indicated in those cases where information regarding their behavior patterns may not be available. The book contains a description of the methodological principles of prediction and also reference material necessary in the search for and synthesis of new inorganic substances. The book is intended for scientists and engineers working in the fields of materials science, inorganic chemistry, chemical cybernetics, as also for specialists concerned with the problems of the search for and synthesis of new inorganic materials.
