Instantaneous Space Kinematics of Two-Parameter Plane Path

摘要

Fundamental developments of two-parameter tangent plane motion are presented. Attention is focused on the analysis of the motion of a tangent-plane with two degrees of freedom. Properties of motion are identified for finite and higher order motions. The synthesis and analysis of spatial mechanisms for two-parameter tangent-plane envelope generation are discussed. The report also presents a study of the planar motion of tangent-lines. The synthesis of planar mechanisms to generate given planar curves is shown.
