Schedule Planning for Construction Projects

Operating contractors of government-owned facilities manage construction projects having a maximum value of $1,000,000. Successful execution is dependent upon pragmatic scheduling. Such scheduling requires that all activities (both engineering and non-engineering) be integrated into a compatible sequence of events with adequate time allowed for each event. To develop realistic schedules, project event standards and program measures of performance have been established. (ERA citation 10:012004)
