Colored Petri nets were used to validate an interblocking management protocol based on transaction labeling. Coherence analysis of distributed data bases, characterization of transactions distributed over several sites, comparison of the protocol with those already existing, and modeling are described. It is shown that the protocol solves the problems of Rosenkrantz methods, keeping the advantages. The optimization permits keeping the priority of the oldest transactions, giving a better overall response time.
