摘要

The method involves irradiation of the sample, with control standards of arsenic,nantimony and copper, in a flux of approximately 1012 neutrons cm-2 sec-1 for about 12 hours. After dissolution of the sample in the presence of carriers, trivalent arsenic is separated by distillation as the chloride at 110 C in the presence of a reducing agent. Antimony is then distilled as the trichloride at 160 C, the copper remaining in the residue.nSimple radiochemical decontamination steps are then applied to each of these fractions and finally the radioactivity of the 76As, 122Sb and 64Cu from the sample is compared with that from the control standards.
