TECHNICAL SUMMARY REPORT OF NERVA PROGRAM VOLUMEⅥ TECHNOLOGY DISSEMINATION FROM THE NUCLEAR ROCKET PROGRAM NEW COMPANIES, CAPABILITIES, PROCESSES AND PRODUCTS

This report is intended to document the preliminary findings of the limited investigation. The avenues of search will be described and results will be listed under several categories. The preliminary search effort was devoted to seeking these component vendors associated with new products, new manufacturing techniques and quality control changes, to finding develop¬ment and testing laboratories with increased capability, to finding who in the NERVA project team knew about the changes, and to obtaining a brief description of what transpired at the time. There are a number of additional avenues still remaining to search and leads to follow as well as the necessity for continuing with direct interviews and getting confirmation from the organizations concerned.
