Biological Control Agents on Waterhyacinth at Nineteen Locations in Louisiana

When plans were being formulated for a large-scale study of the effects of insects and plant pathogens on waterhyacinths in Louisiana, it became apparent that baseline conditions of the sites on which the organisms were to be placed were not known. The purpose of the work reported herein was to accumulate data on what organisms were already present at the sites to be used. These data were collected and the baseline conditions are described herein. (Author)
