Dow Aims to Grow Polyurethanes Base Through Agreement with Jilin Connell

Midland- Dow Chemical Co and Jilin Connell Chemical Industry Co. have signed a letter of intent for a U.S. Gulf Coast supply of aniline by Jilin to grow Dow's polyurethanes business.Dow, noting that it operates the largest single-train crude diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) plant in the world today in Freeport, Texas, said competitive U.S. aniline supply is critical to meeting its customers' needs in a variety of markets and applications.
