摘要

Among 10 fungicidal treatments, the coordinated use of Thiram + Vitavax in 2:1 proportion at 3 percent concentration was found to be most effective in reducing the total number of fungal colonies. Average number of 4.33 colonies were found to appearin this treatment combination as against 17.13 colonies in control. Alternaria spp., Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus, Colletotrichum spp., Curvularia lunata, Dreschlera spp., Fusarium moniliforme, Penicillium spp, Pythium spp. and Rhizoctonia spp.constituted the type of rhizospheric fungal fauna. The combination of Thiram + Vitavax recorded significantly higher length (11.53 cm) of sett root.
