In December 2011 the Pesticide Action Network International organised a hearing of the Permanent Peoples' Tribunal (PPT) in Bangalore, India charging the big six multi-national pesticide manufacturers with gross violations of human rights in all the areas of the world where they operate. Included in the evidence was that of UK sheep farmers who are suffering the effects of poisoning by organophosphate (OP) sheep dips.
