Biocide Regulation to come into force in 2013

A new Regulation on the placing on the market and use of biocidal products in the EU comes into force in 2013. It will deliver some measure of improved protection for people and the environment from the potential negative effects of biocidal products but is by no means perfect, missing out some real opportunities for improvements.
