As the unprecedented tragedy of Hurricane Katrina continued to unfold,an explosion in the pre-dawn hours Sept.2 rocked a New Orleans industrial complex along the Mississippi River.The blast,which news reports said filled the sky with black smoke,was followed by several smaller explosions.
