摘要

Bibiodegradable polymers have attracted considerable interest in the last decade. They not only contribute to solving the problems of diminishing landfill space and petroleum supplies created by the increased use of synthetic plastics, but they are also promising candidates for use in drug delivery systems and medical implants due to their biocompat-ibility and their ability to be gradually absorbed into the body.
