Petrofac to acquire stake in Nigerian company

Petrofac, the international oil and gas facilities service provider, has entered into a strategic alliance with Nigerian production and development company Seven Energy. Petrofac is to invest $100mn, funded from cash resources, to acquire a 15% interest (12.6% on a fully diluted basis) in Seven Energy and will assist with the development of production, processing and transportation assets.
