Peter Newman Hon FEI elected OIC President

The Oil Industries Club (www.oil club.co.uk) has elected Peter Newman FCA CEnv Hon FEI as its President, in succession to Chris Moorhouse. Newman is a Director of The Addax & Oryx Group and of Oryx Petroleum Company. His career in the oil industry started more than 30 years ago with Mobil and included lengthy spells with Andersen and then Deloitte, where he led the firm's Oil & Gas sector practice globally in consulting, audit, tax and corporate finance up until his retirement in 2009.
