South Africa is Africa's leading exporter of citrus fruits. At the other end of Africa, in the north west corner lies Africa's second largest exporter - Morocco. The leading citrus type sector in Morocco is soft citrus, where their production is threetimes that of South Africa. In oranges South Africa produces twice Moroccan volumes and in lemons almost ten times Moroccan volumes. Morocco does not produce grapefruit in significant volumes.
