Fear and loathing in Ketchikan: Down so low it looks like up

We're baiting up in a blizzard, and I'm struggling to hold my own with these guys. As a result of turning over all that gear, I've exerted my body above and beyond any feeling I've ever known. I signed up for this, so I won't complain about that. I just wish I was stronger. It's unnerving that I don't know what's wrong with my body, or if there is anything wrong, so at this point all I can do is push the worry out of my mind and carry on. Since this is the only place I can bitch, the Karen Rae doesn't have a shower either, so I pretend it does whenever I wash my hair in the galley sink. This putrid smell of rotten-ass and B.O. has taken my gag-reflex hostage, and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to subject myself to standing within a five-footradius to anyone out liere.
