Cohen Commission: Time goes fast when you're having fun

Cohen recap: The Cohen Commission of inquiry into the 2009 Fraser River sockeye salmon collapse completed two years of hearings on Nov. 10 with final submissions from participants. Throughout the hearings, many participants took the opportunity to grind their own particular axes, which ranged from demands for more fish for their own group to demands for quota systems. They frequently attacked each other's positions. Salmon aquaculture opponents attacked fish farms, and salmon farmers defended themselves. Conservation groups dabbled in fishery issues that they often knew very little about.
