Emerging role of technology students in Paint & Coatings Industry

As a Student,I always dreaded those "Vivas" wherein the Professors would bombard us with questions ranging from nano-carbon applications in automotive paints to the structure of silicons resin and we would be counting stars at the ,back of our mind,quite startled by the unexpected questions!!Sometimes,we even used to search on Internet for the right answers to the Viva questions,but to our utter astonishment,even an effective search engine like Google was,not able to assist us in getting the correct answer.Here was my chance,I thought:lets find out how the noted players from paints and the coating industry deal with uncanny questions.Lets take a mock-viva of theirs (:-))!So,the following well-known dignitaries of the coating industry in India with distinct way of thinking were interviewed with questions on the Theme "Emerging role of technology students in the paints and coatings industry".Special thanks in these efforts are due to Prof.V.C.Malshe (HOD,Dept of Surf.Coating Tech,UICT,Mumbai) and Mrs.Elvina Rose (ICI Paint Business,Thane-Belapur) who helped in the formulation of the questions.Answers,as narrated to Mr.Jigar Mistry-4th Year B.Tech (Paints),.UICT,Mumbai.
