摘要

Functionality of endohedral metallofullerene solids have been investigated by dielectric and magnetic probes. Large dielectric constant and anomalous temperature dependence indicates that metallofullerene molecules are dielectric active due to their electric dipoles on individual molecules, and that the anomalies are associated with the molecular rotational phase transitions. The correlation between magnetic properties and molecular rotations was demonstrated by the ESR measurement, showing two stable states at low temperature, which are controlled by the cooling protocol.
