ESTONIA'S Galvex galvanising plant is heading for a late-September start up, managing director Toomas Tull told SteelWEEK. Though about six weeks later than earlier estimates, it is still well ahead of the original December deadline. "Events have proved we were optimistic in saying mid-August as a start up," Tull said. "But it's only a question of logistics. Equipment has a long way to come here, and if adjustments are needed we have to send for fresh materials from places like Japan and Italy, and they all take a long time to arrive."
