Sidenor: adjusting its portfolio in Latin America

Spanish steelmaker Sidenor has rationalised its holdings in Latin America following its unsuccessful attempt to buy a US mill to expand operations within the NAFTA region. It is now concentrating all its LA operations at A cos Villares in Brazil where it has expanded output and sold off high-alloy and rolls production facilities.
