摘要

The experimental study of the physico-chemical properties of substances having high melting points and possessing a large chemical activity in a molten state is connected with well known difficulties. Special equipment and techniques are required to overcome these difficulties. We have designed and constructed an instrument which makes it possible to measure the electrical conductivity and viscosity of melts over a wide temperature range. This instrument provides also for the simultaneous conducting of simple and differential thermal analyses with the registration of the cooling and heating curves on the N. S. Kurnakov pyrometer. Slight constructional variations make it possible to study, on this same instrument, the temperature relationship of melt densities.
