Hansen Recognized as 'Engineer of the Year'

A panel representing Arizona's engineering community - the Engineers Week Committee--has selected Ph.D., PE of AMEC's Earth & Environmental office in Tempe as Arizona's Outstanding Engineer of the Year. The committee cited Dr. Hansen's 30-year career in geotechnical engineering and his recent work to protect the public in rapidly growing areas of Maricopa County from potentially unsafe earthen flood-control dams. Dr. Hansen recently accepted the award at the Engineers Week banquet at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix. Director of Internal Operations, is on the senior management team at GKatmar Concrete, LLC. Keith received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance, and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of New Mexico. He has extensive finance and accounting experience where he started his career at GAP Corporate, moved on to COMCAST Advertising as the Business Manager for New Mexico and his last position was the business manager for the GEO Group.
