Pharmaceuticals major Johnson &,Johnson(J&J)is likely to face a setback in the Indian babycare products marketifthe;5.5-lakh chemists agree to a request made by their patron,the All India Organisation of Chemists & Druggists(AIOCD),the largest chemists'body in the country.A limited company floated by AIOCD,fhe All Indian Origin Chemists and Distributors Ltd(AIOCDL),has asked its members to;promote babycare products marketed by Maneesh Pharmaceuticals,for which AIOCDL is acting as a brand ambassador.Maneesh has a marketing tie-up with Disney Company to distribute the latter's'babycare products in India.The move is expected to marginally hit J&J's revenues from babycare products.J&J had an 85% share in the Rs 1,500-crore babycare products mar-ket inIndia.
