Nasal fractures represent the most frequent injuries of maxillo-facial complex because the nose is the most anterior facial structure, and because it has a particular triple composition of bony, cartilaginous and soft tissue. The forces required to cause significant injury are less compared with other facial traumas (Carroll et al., 1995; Holt, 1999). In soccer it is a frequent injury (Frenguelli et al., 1991; Mala-diere et al., 2001), and occurs during frontal collision that results in fracture of nasal bones and drooping of the septum, and during lateral collision which results in nasal pyramid dislocation.
