摘要

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) reactivation causes lymphoproliferative disorders (LPDs) in irnmuno-compromised patients, particularly in post-transplantation patients (1). A few cases in which EBV-associated LPDs developed in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients on low-dose methotrexate (MTX) therapy have been reported (2-7). We report here a case of an EBV-associated mononucleosis-like disorder in an RA patient due to immunosuppressive MTX therapy.
