Spot prices of 75% Si ferrosiliconin Asia fell this week on slow demandand tight liquidity in China close to thelunar year-end.Platts assessed the China spot priceat $1,270-1,310/mt FOB China Thursday,down from $1,300-1,330/mt FOB a weekago. The Japan spot import price wasassessed at $1,290-1,320/mt CIFThursday, down from $1,305-1,330/mt CIFlast week. The Japanese price assessmentreflects ferrosilicon of all origins.
