A lack of raw materials could bring to a halt steelmaking at Ilva's Taranto works in Italy by December 14, Ilva President Bruno Ferrante told Italian prosecutors Thursday. "The application of the latest notification sent on November 12 from Ilva court-appointed guardian about the discharge limitation at Ilva's raw material stockyards could lead to the stoppage of the hot end of the plant with serious security risks," Ferrante told prosecutors in a letter.
