Brazil's MMX moving to expand mine and port facilities

Brazilian iron ore miner MMX is closer to securing an environmental license to double Superporto Sudeste port capacity to 100 million mt and is also making progress on the expansion of its iron ore operations at Serra Azul. MMX could next week be granted a license to expand Serra Azul when the subject is discussed by the Minas Gerais state council of environmental policy (Copam).
