CBMX sees longest period without trades

The China Beijing International Mining Exchange (CBMX), the Chinese state-backed trading platform for iron ore, had experienced seven trading days without activity at the end of Asian business Monday. Over the same period Platts has observed 15 spot trades outside of the platform. This is the longest run without trades for CBMX, which officially launched May 8; the previous longest period of inactivity was between June 19-27.
