Crown Mountain HCC project sees cost benefits

Mine developer Jameson Resources said its Crown Mountain coking coal project in Western Canada remains viable once the market turns as it benefits from lower oil and equipment prices and the weaker local currency. Jameson said contract mining companies and consultants are undertaking a review on the greenfield project feasibility study, and “economic benefits of the PFS can likely be obtained at significantly lower coal sales prices,” in a report dated Monday.
