Brazil's Vale was back in the iron ore spot market Thursday after a 23-day absence, offering 117,000 mt of 62.57% Fe Standard Sinter Feed Guaiba (SSFG). The cargo contains 1.73% alumina, 6.13% silica, 0.048% phosphorus and 8.3% moisture The tender closes Thursday, 17:00 Beijing time (0900 GMT). The absence followed a spate of 24 spot sales through spot tenders in March, totaling 3.7 million mt.
