China's spot ferrosilicon prices were assessed unchanged week on week at 1,390-1,440 dollars/mt FOB China Thursday. Demand is generally slow, but small tonnage deals to minor markets at the higher end of the range are supporting prices, according to market participants. Chinese suppliers reported small tonnage deals of around 50 mt to Southeast Asian and South Asian buyers at 1,420-1,440 dollars/ mt this week.
