The molybdenum oxide assessment rose Wednesday, as market sources said they were selling and purchasing at higher prices, particularly in Europe. The Platts daily dealer oxide price assessment edged up to $11.20-11.35/lb, from $11.15-11.30/lb the previous day. A producer said he sold two lots of 20 mt at $11.30/lb, one to a consumer and the other to a trader.
