NWR to mine new coking coal reserves, appoints executive

Central European coal and coke producer New World Resources (NWR) is going to deepen its CSA 2 shaft at Karvina Mine in the Czech Republic, in order to secure access to roughly 20 million mt of coking coal, according to a company release. The mining company is carrying out preparatory works with the aim to start excavation in September and completion expected by December 2015, it said.
