摘要

At present, tritium is discharged in the Yenisei from the Mining-and-Chemical Plant (MCP) of the RF Ministry of the Nuclear Power Industry (direct wastewater discharge and tritium transport by runoff from the sanitary protective zone of the plant to the river network) and due to nuclear arms tests (transport from the drainage area of the Yenisei basin). According to annually published data on the radiation situation in Russia (Makhon'ko et at, 2001), the annual average concentration of tritium in Yenisei waters in 1998 and 1999 was 3.7-4.1 Bq/1 and did not exceed its average content (accounted for by nuclear tests) in Russian water bodies.
