I first encountered the new Fusion design at Ford's Power of Choice event showcasing the Focus' and the Escape's new designs. They had a Fusion prototype tucked away in a tent to show off the new body style and I was absolutely floored with what they had done. I was always ready to be a fan of the previous design, but felt like it had a little further to go in the realm of exterior design for me to become a full-blown fan. But when I stood in front of the Aston Martin-inspired Ford I became the cheering section. Unfortunately, the exterior of a car doesn't represent the car as a whole.
