摘要

The time growth of adsorption of U(VI) ions on TiO_2,gamma-Al_2O_3 and SiO_2 surfaces from aqueous solution at different pH of adsorptive solutions has been studied.The effect of pH on adsorption at a constant adsorptive concentration (1.0 x 10~(-2) mol dm~(-3)) and at constant temperature (298 K) was investigated to get the mechanistic aspects of the uptake process.The overall results indicate the possibility of using metal oxide adsorbents (TiO_2,gamma-Al_2O_3 and SiO_2) for an efficient removal of uranium ions from aqueous solutions and their possible use in radioactive waste management.
